Welcome to my Writing Studio

Sep 19, 2025

You may know me from my Instagram days, you may know me from Substack, if you're newer here then you may have met me on YouTube, or perhaps it was something completely else that brought you here.

Whatever the case, welcome.

What is this newsletter going to be about?

Honestly, I have no idea. Yet. Well, I have some idea, but we'll see how it goes.

Mainly, I want this to be a weekly letter from me to you about something connected to writing. What exactly that will be will depend on the week. I assume these letters will span over a wide variety of topics and formats, such as writing tips, advice, exercises, prompts, reflections, and insights.

Thank you for being here and I will see you next Friday with a fresh letter!

Katja

There are many different ways to deal with our internal resistance to writing. Today, I want to talk about one of them that has worked for me very well. When you are writing and those doubtful voices in your mind get loud, keep writing. I'm not talking about ignoring them or trying to push through them, but quite the opposite. Write them out. Include them in whatever you are writing. And then ...
